The Hurricane Ring was created by Douglas Elliott for a couple who met when they were displaced after their homes were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. They sought to create a ring to commemorate the dramatic circumstances under which they met. Douglas Elliott created The Hurricane Ring for them and they were in love. The Hurricane ring is an organic, spontaneous, whorl of precious metal that resembles a golden hey being whirled around in a storm. Diamond micro pave is set into the thin metal design. This ring is customizable and can be made completely encrusted in diamond micro pave or only partially covered in micro pave.
